Our story… It all begins with an idea.

WimbSupHire simply put is a family run business based out of a little town, Wimborne in Dorset.

With the beautiful river stour flowing right through the centre of Wimborne, all way through Dorset into Christchurch. WimbSupHire was formed on a sunny day in 2021.

Like most people during “staycation” in 2021, we were looking at new ways to enjoy the summer.

We struggled to find anywhere local that would hire boards for the day so we made the decision to purchase our own.

We started lending out our boards to close friends and family and they too fell in love with the sport. We then came to the idea to hire out our boards at a price that anyone could give it a go.

Before long we were inundated with enquiries and bookings, 2 boards turned to 4, 4 turned to 8, 8 turned to 12 and a Kayak!

We’re now continuing our quest to give all families and friends visiting Dorset from all over the country, the chance to get out on the water and visit the beautiful landscapes, rivers and ocean in Wimborne, Bournemouth and Dorset, at a cost anyone can afford.
